Licensed Counsellor
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a licensed Counsellor / Psychologist
- Registered with KCPA / KAP or relevant professional body
- Must hold a valid practicing license
- Diploma in Counselling Psychology or related field (minimum)
- Bachelor's Degree is an added advantage
- Master's Degree is an added advantage
- Minimum 2 years experience in addiction recovery, mental health counselling, trauma counselling, or therapy
- Certification or specialized training in Addiction Counselling / Substance Use Disorder treatment (added advantage)
Core Competencies
- Conduct individual therapy sessions
- Facilitate group therapy
- Provide family counselling
- Develop treatment & recovery plans
- Maintain professional documentation & reports
- Crisis intervention skills
- Strong emotional intelligence & confidentiality
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional counselling to clients
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain confidential client records
- Participate in case review meetings
- Support relapse prevention programs
- Educate families and support systems

Psychiatric Nurse
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Specialty training in Psychiatry / Mental Health Nursing
- Must hold a valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in a psychiatric or mental health unit
- Experience in rehabilitation or addiction recovery is an added advantage
- Certification or specialized training in Addiction Counselling / Substance Use Disorder treatment (added advantage)
Core Competencies
- Patient mental health assessment
- Counseling and psychoeducation skills
- Medication administration & monitoring
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Case management and documentation
- Ability to work in a 24-hour care environment

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor progress
- Administer and manage prescribed medications
- Provide basic counselling and emotional support
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Support treatment and relapse prevention plans
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
