Licensed Counsellor

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a licensed Counsellor / Psychologist
  • Registered with KCPA / KAP or relevant professional body
  • Must hold a valid practicing license
  • Diploma in Counselling Psychology or related field (minimum)
  • Bachelor's Degree is an added advantage
  • Master's Degree is an added advantage
  • Minimum 2 years experience in addiction recovery, mental health counselling, trauma counselling, or therapy
  • Certification or specialized training in Addiction Counselling / Substance Use Disorder treatment (added advantage)

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions
  • Facilitate group therapy
  • Provide family counselling
  • Develop treatment & recovery plans

Psychiatric Nurse

Mental Health & Addiction Treatment

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Specialty training in Psychiatry / Mental Health Nursing
  • Must hold a valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)
  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in a psychiatric or mental health unit
  • Experience in rehabilitation or addiction recovery is an added advantage
  • Certification or specialized training in Addiction Counselling / Substance Use Disorder treatment (added advantage)

Core Competencies

  • Patient mental health assessment
  • Counseling and psychoeducation skills
  • Medication administration & monitoring
  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation
  • Case management and documentation
  • Ability to work in a 24-hour care environment
